Thanks to a (totally
unplanned) dekko of a YouTube clip of a Frenchman named Heni (alias
Pascal of Bollywood), I came to know about a song called Chali Chali Re Patang.
It was only much
Lat(a)(e)r that I found out it was a duet by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi,
and was from (R)afilm titled Bhabhi.
And, of course, the fact that it became k(u)ite popular.
No sooned had I
muttered, “Merci beaucoup (French for
thank you very much), Pascal of Bollywood” than I discovered that it was penned
by Rajinder (Krish)and composed by Chitragupta.
