a trip down melody lane (aboard what Mumbaikars would call a ladies’ special),
let Ushave the pleasure of getting intoxicated.
Because, isn’t
that the effect Hum Aur Tum Aur Yeh Sama,
which was from Dil Deke Dekho and
composed by Khanna, has on the listeners?
And, just to
make it obvious, the second line of the track, which was penned by Majrooh
Sultanpuri, went, “Kya nasha nasha sa hai”.
It was rendered
by Mohammed Rafi, and had a sense of familiaR(af)ity, as evidenced by the line,
“Sab suna suna sa hai”.
